starmorgsI am pleased to announce that I now am able to transform "That Sucker Finally Fell from Grace" into original fic! YAY! I thought it would be impossible considering the fact that's basically a second life with a twist AU but after another accusation against Kane surfaced, I was like, nope, not writing it as it is. (Discussion about how fucking mad I am about how this asshole ruined several things for me shall be on another post)
So I'm proud and excited to introduce Alex Taggart and Benji Huang! Alex is the certified mess who is (un)lucky enough to have the chance to relive his life. Ultimately a redemption tale, Alex struggles with the decisions that he made in his old life and the people he left behind, including his godson and Benji's son Nate Huang, while trying to move forward.
Alex isn't the only one who made a journey.
Max Khramov, considered Hockey Jesus and the face of the league, has also experienced a second chance at life. Grumpier than ever before, he too struggles with the fact that his old life still effects this new life. He also has to deal with his past life-ex and now life-teammate Ziggy Nystrom who managed to live a happy life without him.
Max's story is going to get it's own separate "novel" and act as a companion to "That Sucker Finally Fell from Grace". Alex and Max have a lot of growing to do so it would make sense to do things like that. Besides, in each story readers will get a limited POV so I want to expand on how some things happened.
